Molokini is a crescent-shaped partially submerged volcanic crater that forms a small uninhabited islet located in the ʻAlalākeiki Channel between the islands of Maui and Kahoʻolawe, within Maui County, Hawaii. Molokini is a destination for diving, snuba and snorkeling. The crater is home to a reef with visibility of up to 46 m. Molokini is home to around 250 species of fish, many of them endemic. Water depth is 6 to 50 feet at most permitted dive sites.
